JASON BROWN
President
Jason Brown is one of the founders of Ascent Builders, which he was inspired to create because of a longtime passion for building and construction. Having spent a number of years in management roles with worldwide organizations, Jason applies his business and strategic leadership skills to Ascent and offers clients a unique background not commonly found in the industry. Prior to launching Ascent Builders, Jason spent 10 years at Level 3 Communications, a Broomfield-based global telecommunications provider, where he served in multiple leadership roles. Previously, Jason was a senior manager at Ernst & Young, consulting clients in a broad array of industries. Jason holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Kansas University.
JEFF PROCTOR
Vice President
Jeff Proctor joined Ascent Builders in 2005 as the company’s business development leader. Jeff also runs Ascent Builders’ sister company, Basement Partners. Prior to Ascent Builders, Jeff spent seven years at Level 3 Communications, a Broomfield-based global telecommunications provider, serving in multiple leadership roles within the information technology department. Previously, Jeff was an information technology consultant with Accenture. Jeff holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Jeff lives in Westminster with his wife, Molly, and their two daughters.
BORIS FIRQUAIN
Regional Executive, Kansas City
Boris Firquain joined Ascent Builders/Basement Partners in 2020 to lead the regional expansion into the Kansas City market. Boris has a long history in different areas of the housing finance industry, including the mortgage sector, within banks and corporate lending. Client needs and communication have always been a priority in his profession. Paired with an eye for detail and a love of remodeling, Boris provides clients with an elevated experience throughout the construction process. As a native to Kansas City, Boris is a graduate of The University of Kansas, and resides in Olathe.
